Braneka Bassett is a beauty pageant titleholder who won the Miss Bahamas 2010 beauty pageant held on May 9 at the Imperial Ballroom , Atlantis Resort. She was crowned by the reigning Miss Bahamas 2009, Joanna Brown.
Braneka Bassett stands 1.76 m tall and she will represent her country at the Miss Universe 2010 and Miss World 2010 pageants this year.
The 1st runner-up was Anastagia Pierre. She will represent Bahamas at the Miss Intercontinental 2010 pageant and the 2nd runner-up was Janay Pyfrom. She will travel to the Miss Supranational 2010 pageant in Poland next August.
Completing the 5 finalists were Kastachia Stuart and Lataj Henfield.
Completing the top 10 semi-finalists were Alia Sands, Amy Sands, Azaria Clare, Shakell Seymour and Lathyra Tinker.
